"Teens rush to help on front line of flooding" was the headline on the main page of CNN.com (article link). And the first thing I thought of was:

"Damn right they should be helping. School is out for the summer, and your house is about to end up downstream in the Gulf of Mexico."

So don't act all 4 Minutes to Save the World on me. Show some responsibility, put down your Xbox controller and lend a hand. When you start rescuing people off of the roofs of their houses, then I'll be the first in line to recognize your efforts.
